We understand that life happens, and sometimes people must cancel their class reservation. Please help us continue to offer affordable, accessible classes, by reading and adhering to our cancellation, refund and transfer policies.

Classes and workshops may be canceled when enrollment minimums are not reached, or if the instructor has to cancel due to illness or personal emergency. Cancellations due to low enrollment will be determined no later than 2 business days before the class starts. Cancellations due to instructor unavailability will be announced as soon as is feasible, and the class will be rescheduled as soon as is feasible. In the event that Clear Creek Farm cancels an activity, the student will have the option to transfer to another class, as long as space is available; receive full credit toward another activity; or receive a 100% refund.

In the event the student withdraws from a class or workshop, refunds will be granted as follows:
7 days notice, full refund minus processing fees incurred by Clear Creek Farm
Less than 7 days notice but before the day of the start of the activity, 50% refund minus processing fees incurred by Clear Creek Farm
Notice the day of or after the start of the activity, no refund will be given. The student also has the option of transferring their registration to another person without penalty.

In the event of inclement weather, Clear Creek Farm will use the best information and guidance available (e.g. Riverview School District closure decisions, local weather forecasts) to determine whether to cancel or postpone an activity. Closing information will be posted on our website and on social media as soon as is feasible. Ongoing classes will be rescheduled as soon as possible, and single-session workshops will be rescheduled or class credit offered.

In order to provide students, members, visitors and staff and residents with a safe and supportive environment, Clear Creek Farm has a Zero Tolerance Policy for behaviors that threaten the physical or emotional safety of any student, staff, visitor, instructor or resident. Clear Creek Farm reserves the right to refuse registration to any student if administration or faculty deem the student to be disruptive or dangerous, and to remove them from the property. No guns, firearms or any type of dangerous materials may be brought onto the Clear Creek Farm property.
This policy includes attempted, threatened, or actual conduct that causes or is likely to cause injury to another student, staff, visitor, instructor or resident. It includes:
Physical assaults
Threats or intimidation
Discriminatory behavior
Bullying, abuse, or use of divisive or belittling language
Gestures of a violent or inappropriate nature
Any other behavior that might reasonably give a student cause for fear or create a hostile environment.
Acts of this nature will not be tolerated and will be responded to with the immediate removal of the person from Clear Creek Farm. Clear Creek Farm reserves the right to refuse future registrations to any student if administration or faculty deem the student’s presence would create an unsafe environment for others.

Clear Creek Farm retains the right to photograph any class, student, student work or event and reproduce the images at its discretion without incurring obligations. If you object to being photographed for reasons of personal safety or because the participant is a minor child, please let your instructor or a staff member know and your objection will be honored.

Classes and workshops at Clear Creek Farm are kept small, both to support an intimate and supportive learning environment, and out of respect for our residents and neighbors. Parking areas are available in front of and on the north side of the barn which houses the Hive, but we ask that you take care not to block the driveway or park beyond the signs marking the start of residential areas. If you arrive and are unsure about where to park, please let your instructor or a staff member know.
